Privacy Policy

1. What We Collect
When you use Mise, we collect the following categories of personal data:
- Email address — collected at account creation and used to manage your account and communicate with you.
- Photos of clothing items — uploaded by you and stored securely in Supabase Storage. These photos are used solely to power AI-generated styling recommendations.
- Style and body profile data — including fit preferences, occasions, and aesthetic references collected during onboarding. This data is used to personalize your styling experience.
- Usage analytics — aggregate, non-personally-identifiable traffic data collected via Vercel Analytics (page views, general traffic patterns). No individual tracking cookies are used.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To provide AI styling recommendations — your photos and style profile are sent to the Anthropic Claude API for processing. This is the core function of the service.
- To manage your account and subscription via Stripe (payment processing).
- To improve the service using aggregate, anonymous analytics data.
- We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
3. Third-Party Processors
We share your data with the following sub-processors, each operating under their own privacy policies and applicable data protection law:
- Supabase (US) — database storage and file storage for your account data and uploaded photos.
- Anthropic (US) — AI processing of your photos and style profile to generate styling recommendations.
- Stripe (US) — payment processing and subscription management.
- Vercel (US) — application hosting and aggregate usage analytics.
4. Data Retention
Your data is retained for as long as your account remains active. You may delete your account and all associated data at any time from your Profile settings. Upon account deletion, your personal data will be removed from our systems within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal retention obligations.
5. Your Rights (CCPA / GDPR)
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights with respect to your personal data:
- Right to access — you may request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Right to deletion — you may delete your account and all associated data at any time from Profile settings.
- Right to opt out of data sale — we do not sell your personal data, so no opt-out is necessary.
- EU/EEA users — rights under GDPR Articles 15–22 apply, including rights to rectification, restriction of processing, and data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at misebeta.cloud@gmail.com.
6. Analytics
We use Vercel Analytics to collect aggregate, anonymous usage data such as page views and general traffic patterns. This data is not personally identifiable and does not rely on tracking cookies that require consent under CCPA. For EU users: we currently do not use GDPR-regulated analytics cookies. If this changes in the future, we will implement a consent banner before enabling them.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted at this URL with an updated "Last updated" date. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
